Meat trimmer — North Ayrshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. The role involves: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
