Spray painter (automotive) — Broome County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Broome County, New York. You will work at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Six days a week, one day off.
