Great opportunity: MIG/MAG welder (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Boyle County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off.
