Gas pipe fitter wanted in Cambridgeshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Cambridgeshire, England. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. You will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £135 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
