TIG welder • Parke County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Parke County, Indiana. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
