Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Hempstead County, Arkansas. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 6+ years on the tools preferred.
