The role involves crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
