Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Your main tasks: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
