Milling machinist — Gage County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Gage County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
