Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Real County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
