Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Phillips County, Montana. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Rotating shifts.
