Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Columbia County, Washington. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
