GTAW welder — Craven County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Craven County, North Carolina. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
