You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
