We are recruiting: gypsum plasterer (Connecticut)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
