Commercial refrigeration engineer • Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland

Now hiring: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. The role involves: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
