We are recruiting: commercial refrigeration engineer (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Wapello County, Iowa. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day to day you will service split AC units and VRF systems; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system. Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
