Immediate opening: glass and glazing technician (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a shopfront glazing company. Your main tasks: • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand 3+ years on the tools preferred.
