MIG/MAG welder wanted in West Sussex

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in West Sussex, England. The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Pay around £14 per hour, based on your experience.
