You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
