Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Dawes County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
