Inventory clerk — City of Williamsburg

We are recruiting: we are hiring an inventory clerk in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. You will work at a busy distribution centre. The role involves check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders; put away stock into racking locations following FIFO; segregate returns and process them back into stock; pack items into cartons and seal them with tape; load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck; report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor. You should have: • Strong attention to detail to avoid mis-picks • Able to stand and walk for long shifts on your feet • Good numeracy for stock counts and order checking $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
