Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Greenwood County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Pay around $9,500 per project, based on your experience.
