Join our team: lift mechanic (Ondo State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Akoko South West, Ondo State. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Rotating shifts.
