Immediate opening: MIG/MAG welder (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Hendricks County, Indiana. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
