Argon welding operator • Montgomery County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Montgomery County, Ohio. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
