Flatlock machine operator wanted in Cuyahoga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
