Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Aberdeen City, Scotland. The job is at a road and highway construction project. On the job you will handle: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly What we are looking for: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
