Stainless steel welder — Doddridge County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Doddridge County, West Virginia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE You will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
