Sheet metal welder wanted in Chaffee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Chaffee County, Colorado. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
