Join our team: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Davie County, North Carolina. The job is on flat roofs and terraces. On the job you will handle: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Rotating shifts.
