Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in City of Suffolk, Virginia. The job is on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
