Catering cook • De Soto Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a catering cook in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
