Thermal insulation technician • Ellis County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Ellis County, Texas. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Willing to travel between sites • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters 4+ years on the tools preferred.
