GMAW welder — Autauga County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Autauga County, Alabama. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
