Vacancy available: steam press operator (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Greene County, Mississippi. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $6,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
