Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Carroll County, Virginia. You will be based at a land-clearing site. Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine On the job you will handle: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
