You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Part-time with flexible hours.
