Immediate opening: hoist operator (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Siskiyou County, California. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day-to-day duties: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Rotating shifts.
