Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Hamblen County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
