Bike messenger — Beaufort County

Join our team: we are hiring a bike messenger in Beaufort County, North Carolina. The role involves handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding; carry food orders in an insulated thermal box to keep meals hot; scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off; collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift; load and balance parcels safely in the rear carrier box; collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end. Requirements: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
