Urgent requirement: furnace operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Coweta County, Georgia. The job is at a busy iron foundry. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
