Join our team: vertical milling machine operator (West Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Marshall County, West Virginia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
