Argon welder — City of Buena Vista

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding.
