Requirements: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • Awareness of workshop health and safety On the job you will handle: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
