Great opportunity: argon welding operator (Wisconsin)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Marinette County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
