Fabricator-welder wanted in Buckinghamshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Buckinghamshire, England. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. You will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Part-time with flexible hours.
