Gas installation technician • Schuyler County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Schuyler County, Illinois. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day-to-day duties: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
