Fabricator-welder — Van Zandt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Van Zandt County, Texas. You will work at an automobile body shop. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
