Now hiring: we are hiring a smash repairer in Emery County, Utah. Day-to-day duties: • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections What we are looking for: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
